Bellasera Alpacas enjoys and encourages farm visits. Whether you are seeking an alpaca for purchase, gathering information prior to becoming an alpaca farmer, just love the animals or want a great way to spend an afternoon, we are what you are looking for. We have friendly calm alpacas that you can see "up close and personal". There is always something happening at the farm, such as; shearing, herd health, training, or if you are lucky the birth of a new alpaca. A baby is called a "cria". We also have a store that offers the softest and warmest clothing made from the exquisite fiber of the alpaca.

We recently sheared all the alpacas on the farm for the coming summer months.

Alpaca fiber (fleece) is so soft that it is very highly prized by designers around the world for blankets, suits and sweaters. Alpaca fleece does not contain lanolin like sheep wool, therefore it can be washed and spun immediately after shearing.
